Testimony: I was raised by an alcoholic stepmother that couldn't stand the site of me because I look like my biological mother. She and my father were married when I was two. I found out at the age of 10 that she was not my biological mother. This woman was mean and hateful and did terrible things to me. I held on to bitter feelings for years and years. I married at a very young age,16. I felt that I loved this man with all my heart. We were married for 10 years. My husband was unfaithful to me with another woman. She became pregnant with his child . I already had two daughters by him ages 8 & 6 . I too, was expecting his child ,our third daughter. I was devastated at the prospects of losing my husband . I was raised as a catholic and believed strongly in the Sacrament of Matrimony. I made a total fool of myself trying to get him to come back to me and then turned to drinking as an alternative to suicide. I kept drinking until long after the baby was born. Fourteen years. A friend of mine whom I had not seen in many years found me living in a 28 foot camper trailer. I had lost everything ,my children my husband my will to live at all. I had nothing to look forward to. She took me to her church after much persuasion , and I met Jesus . I ask Him to come and take control of my life ,and to help me get back on track. I have come a long way since then . That was 13 years ago and I still attend the same church and I love the Lord with all of my heart,mind and soul. My strongest desire in life now is to see my three daughters accept Jesus into their lives and experience the real Joy of life. I would like to have a good Christian man ( who loves the Lord with all of his mind heart and soul )in my life. He would have to love me just as much as he loves Jesus next. Now I am a Puppet director at my church and I serve on the praise and worship team. I have the Joy of the Lord in my life and I pray that it will always shine for others to see. I am truly happy and I do enjoy my everyday life. I thank God everyday for pulling me out of the pit and setting me on His rock.
