Life and Death
In the medical field, where I worked, I would see matters of life and death every day. Sometimes dramatic, codes, ER traumas. Sometimes simple. The pain of the family when they lose a loved on in an accident. The pain on the face of a young woman who gave birth to a baby that died a few hours later. The joy on the face of someone who is discharged from the hospital with her first newborn baby. The rejuvenated look of someone finally free of pain.
In chat we also seem to see matters of life and death. People who have reached the end of their patience, who cant take it anymore. People who need Jesus in their lives. The Lord works here though. I still cant get over how often He takes people in here, and brings them to a relationship with Him. You can see Him in here, using any one of us. Giving us words. Giving them hope.
Tonight, we had the joy of watching someone come to the Lord. The joy of knowing another one has come to know Him. All glory and praise to the Lord, for another person has come to know the love, the precious gift of salvation made possible for us all. This is a true joy in life. The joy that only He can bring us. The joy of knowing Him. The joy of reconciliation with the Lord through Jesus Christ. Forgiveness and salvation. Eternal life with Him.
Romans 10:9-11
Because if you confess the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Everyone believing on Him shall not be put to shame.”
