Crazychick4Him was telling us in chat today about a letter she got from the Lord. With her permission, Im recounting it in my blog today.
CC was trying to help someone out. She had been talking to him for a few days about a problem with idolizing, not wanting to give everything over to the Lord or finding in Him a hiding place of comfort. She started to get frustrated. So she gave up, closed her bible and a piece of paper fell out with bible verses on it. CC had never seen this before in her life and her bible stays with her at all times.
It had 14 verses on it. On this piece of paper, the J in Jeremiah is different than the J in John. The J in Jeremiah is normal. The J in John is written to where it comes up and makes a cross. The verses talked about encouragement and wisdom. The verses spoke about finding a hiding place in Christ and turning to Him for encouragement and letting Him rescue us. One verse especially stood out. The paper had it listed twice, and she herself had told him that verse before finding the paper.
Despite the oddities, CC looked up verses while her friend was on the phone. She didnt think they made much impression on him, but he called later and thanked CC for not giving up on him. He said he really understood and was going to turn his life around.
Here is the list of verses. The first one is listed twice.
