I Only Lower Case When I Mention god's Such As saTen

"Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the LORD your God."
Leviticus 19:4

But I Do Have A Propensity To Cap Earned Titles Such As Dust-Eater.

"And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:"
Genesis 3:14

In All Fairness My Use Of Caps Could Just Be The Result Of My First Reading Primer, The KJV Bible (With A Nod To Today's Text Messaging Punctuation lol).

Be Blessed Beloved Of The KING

Love, Your Brother Joe

{Dear Ayin Jade, Please Pardon The Time I Took To Reply. You See, I Was Cogitating And Praying And Finally Came To The Conclusion That The Lack Of Caps Could Be Both A Kid's Speed Writing Technique And/Or A Cultural Thing (A-OK!) Or A Mocker's Jeer (Stinks! IMHO)}

I totally agree with Omegamann. There is no point differing over something so trivial while the wider and more important matters are not addressed. For instance now that some have issues with the 'g' for 'G' can they tell us how they differentiate the two in pronounciation? To me how we regard Our Creator is a matter of conscience; not unless you look at it from a grammatical point of view where every proper noun is supposed to start with a capital letter.

I see that a lot in chat. Lack of uppercase, people being upset at the people who do not use upper case etc. There are lots of things to be said about it, and all of them are probably right. Is it laziness that makes people not shift the g in God? Sometimes. However, it could be said that "lol" is just laziness in place of "laughing out loud". "But", I can hear someone saying, "I do "lol" because it is efficient and a normal part of chat culture, and typing God with an upper case g is part of culture to." We all have reasons and excuses for what we do and don't do. I make a lot of typographical errors, and likely I have omitted the "G" at times. If and when I do so, it is not because I lack reverence for God, maybe I had a slice of pizza in my hand, and was typing one handed!
Do you think God is upset when you use the small "g"? The authors of the new testament wrote in lowercase letters, surely they did not disrespect God. Again, that is a cultural difference. My suspicion is that you show more disrespect for God, when you are asked if you have any change to spare and lie and say no to the panhandler. It is more disrespectful to drive 56 M.P.H. when it is clearly marked 55 Speed Limit. You are told in the bible to obey the authorities, never once told to capitalize "God". That pen, or paperclip, or photocopy that you took home from the office belongs to the stockholders, that is theft. Let's not even talk about copying videos, downloading music, and reproducing articles, software, etc. that are copyrighted - than is not only a crime, it can be a felony
It is time to get a grip and look at our own logs before removing the splinters from others. Capitalizing or not is probably not on God's list of things to worry about, why should it be on ours then? If writing in lower case is disrespectful, that is in the heart of the individual, not in the ink on paper or letters on your monitor. God can take it, and God can deal with the individual.
Often, I am sure that people do it to upset the chatters, and then when it works, they sit there laughing because they could push our buttons so easily. Some people mean no harm by it, and when they get jumped on for it, they have discovered a reason not to want to come back or associate with the people of God anywhere. I don't blame them one bit.
