So any who really know me, know that music is a passion of mine. So I’d love to hear some of your favorite Christian bands and songs, and why. I’ll post on different bands that I think are worth a listen. I’ll also try to match up your tastes with other new and up and coming bands to check out.
Currently I really enjoy Thousand Foot Krutch. Their last cd Phenomenon and their newest one ‘the art of breaking’. I’m also excited about Plumb and Kutless new cd’s coming out in March.
Let me know what type you like and i’ll be glad to share w/ you about it! Rock, Worship, Contemporary, even some rap

I love the music of Indelible Grace…they have a heart to revive the “old fashioned hymns”, which have such powerful lyrics to awesome music…reconstructing hymns i guess it’s called…

Thanks for the response! It’s great to hear from you. I tried the link, but it wasnt the correct site. hmm. Want to try again? I have 2 hymn cd’s that I like. One is just from a COC church in Richland Hills, TX and a friend gave it to me, and I LOVE it! Sung in 5 part harmony.

I love Hovie Lister and the Statesmen, the old Gaithers, and Happy Goodman. There was another old time group called the 4 Gallileans. In other words i like the old time stuff, and semi tolerate the new stuff.

Well, Steve, you touched on topic of Christian music i’m not as familiar on. I do know Gaithers and Happy Goodman but not well. I will say that the stuff I listen to mostly would probably make you plug your ears
But I love good worship music! My top 5 choices are:
Thirdday - Offerings
Michael W Smith - Worship
Chris Tomlin - How great is our God
Passion: One day live (various artists)
Wow worship (the first one)
Anyone have some other worship cd’s you love and can share info on?
